Before becoming CEO of Being Brown, LLC, Jasmine Ti’quasia Brown began her journey in Greenville, North Carolina as an aspiring social worker in attempts to bring out the inner beauty in each client. This prompted Jasmine to create her very own cosmetic line in her apartment as a way to empower women of color and to provide more inclusive cosmetic lines for women of all shades. Jasmine says, “Being Brown is for the Brown Girl, By Brown Girl.”
